New crypto ETN from Deutsche Digital Assets on Xetra: Investment in Bitcoin based on macro factors

A new crypto exchange-traded note (ETN) issued by Deutsche Digital Assets has been tradable via Xetra and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since Wednesday.

With the DDA Bitcoin Macro ETP, investors can invest in the performance of a portfolio consisting of Bitcoin and USD Coin. The composition is determined by a quantitative model. This uses the main macroeconomic factors to modulate its exposure to Bitcoin and manage its risk over the long term.

The product is physically backed by the individual crypto assets.

All crypto ETNs tradable on Xetra are physically collateralised and listed on the Regulated Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. In addition, all crypto ETNs on Xetra are centrally cleared by Eurex Clearing AG as the central counterparty (CCP) of Deutsche Börse Group. Thanks to central clearing, institutional investors in particular also benefit from significantly reduced risks in the settlement of transactions.

The product offering in Deutsche Börse's ETF & ETP segment currently comprises a total of 2,195 ETFs, 192 ETCs and 243 ETNs. With this selection and an average monthly trading volume of around €15 billion, Xetra is the leading trading venue for ETFs and ETPs in Europe.
