Why subscribe?
Through Eurex and Eurex Clearing Circulars and Readiness Newsflashes, Deutsche Börse keeps its customers updated about upcoming and ongoing changes, amendments or initiatives that affect the handling of daily processes associated with trading activities on Eurex and clearing activities at Eurex Clearing.
The information provided in the Circulars and Newsflashes is designed to support and ease customers’ tasks and procedures they perform as part of their trading and/or clearing activity.
The principal goal is to always keep customers ready for trading/clearing at Eurex and Eurex Clearing
While changes to products and services form a large part of the notifications, Circulars also cover mandatory regulatory changes that affect the customers or changes to rules and regulations that customers have to reflect.
Eurex and Eurex Clearing Circulars and Readiness Newsflashes are sent by e-mail to the addresses specified by the customers in the subscription process.

The general topic “Derivatives Trading” is split into subscription subtopics with a deeper granularity, giving you the opportunity to define which information you require and therefore only receive the content relevant for you. The categories for Eurex are:

How to subscribe?
We have set up an internet-based, integrated subscription service where you can subscribe to both, Eurex Clearing Circulars and Readiness Newsflashes and Eurex Circulars and Readiness Newsflashes. Through this service, customers can make their individual selection of the content they require for their activities.
Please follow these steps to subscribe:
Go to the subscription page on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under Find > Subscriptions.
Out of trading and/or clearing-related topics, select the ones for which you would like to receive updates.
After you have selected your topics and submitted your subscription, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link. Important: Click on the link to confirm and activate your subscriptions. Without this confirmation, your subscriptions will not be enabled, and you will not receive updates.
Officially registered Central Coordinators of Eurex Trading Participants or Eurex Clearing Members are set up per default for all Eurex Circulars and Readiness Newsflashes respectively all Eurex Clearing Circulars and Readiness Newsflashes.
How to unsubscribe?
If you want to unsubscribe, simply click on the “Unsubscribe” link in the footer of each circular or Readiness Newsflash to delete your subscription for the corresponding Circular/Newsflash topic.
What are the publication rules for Circulars and Newsflashes?
On the subscription page, the publication rules for Circulars and Readiness Newsflashes are outlined to make the concept of the two formats transparent.
In short: Circulars are distributed to customers to announce new initiatives and legally binding items such as regulatory requirements that customers have to comply with, whereas Readiness Newsflashes are distributed frequently to inform customers about updates to ongoing initiatives, availability of specifications, checklists, etc. Please see details in the document on the subscription page: “Publication categories and rules for circulars and Readiness Newsflashes”.

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.
Please find further information about incident handling in the Emergency Playbook published on the Eurex webpage under Support --> Emergencies and safeguards. Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message.
We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
