Eurex Repo GmbH is a leading provider for international financing in the secured money market business. Its highly liquid marketplace combines electronic trading with the efficiency and safety of clearing as well as standardized collateral management and settlement for secured funding and financing transactions - and is continuously growing.
A wide range of international fixed income securities and equities can be traded in e.g. EUR, USD, GBP and CHF within the General Collateral (GC) and Special Repo segments. Its GC Pooling Repo segment is the European benchmark for standardized secured funding with central clearing.
The GC Pooling, Special and GC Repo segments offer trading opportunities with a fully integrated trading, clearing and settlement. As soon as a trade is concluded Eurex Clearing steps in as central counterparty (CCP) and performs a comprehensive risk and delivery management. The eTriParty as well as the HQLAx segments offer bilateral secured funding or collateral swap transactions without the involvement of Eurex Clearing as CCP. All segments are managed by Eurex Repo GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eurex Frankfurt AG.
Eurex Repo GmbH is part of the Eurex Group owned by Deutsche Börse AG. Eurex Repo GmbH is a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) according to the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive 2004/39/EC (MIFID) and is supervised by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).
Mission Statement
Our mission is to strengthen our leading position as provider for collateral trading and secured funding and financing. Our capability to innovate the industry and to further leverage cross-product synergies for standardized OTC products drives our success.
Supervised by the German Financial Supervisory Authority, our unique markets are tailored either to the needs of banks or non-banks and open to all international institutions which fulfil the admission criteria. Stringent business rules as well as superior technology facilitate the required transparency and integrity to the industry. As a centre of competence, Eurex Repo plays an active role in education, consultancy of electronic trading, clearing, settlement and risk/collateral management for collateralised funding and financing markets across the globe.
