Dear Eurex Participant,
With this Newsflash, we would like to inform you about the upcoming MiFID II/MiFIR related enhancements in the T7 Trader GUI regarding the launch of T7 Release 12.0.
MiFID II-related attributes like Execution ID and Execution Qualifier covering the ESMA field “execution within firm” provided through short codes for a human person or Algo IDs; Investment ID and Investment Qualifier covering the ESMA field “investment decision within firm”, also provided through short codes for a human person or Algo IDs, as well as the Client ID provided through short codes, will be available in the entry masks like Order Entry, TES Entry, Eurex EnLight and views where they get preset, e.g. Trade Enrichment of the T7 Trader as part of the extended fields.
The GUI will validate that the numerical value 0 may not be entered into these fields and will follow the new validations on entry combinations as specified in the T7 12.0 Release Notes.
Furthermore, the T7 Trader GUI will provide a feature to set default values for Execution Decision ID and Execution Qualifier, as well as the Investment Decision ID and the Investment Qualifier through the application preferences.
On login into the T7 Trader GUI, after the release go-live, a pop-up window will open to prompt the user to set the default value for the Execution Decision ID. The Execution Qualifier will be “Human” by default on login and can be changed to “Algo” after login, if required.
In the application preferences you will also have the option to set default values for the Investment Decision and Investment Qualifier which will then be applied upon each order submission through that trader's GUI account. The default values can be adjusted in the order message, if desired.
