Eurex
1. Introduction
An enhancement of the Member Section upload functionality for Short Codes and Algo IDs will be introduced. The old frontend will be replaced by a new Graphical User Interface (GUI). The GUI will transfer upload files to the Common Upload Engine (CUE) in order to utilize the CUE pre-validation tool. With this enhancement, Trading Participants benefit from a standardized and comprehensive data pre-validation and file processing. The CUE SFTP functionality is not affected.
2. Required action
The new GUI will replace the current upload frontend. Trading Participants will find the new GUI at the same place in the Member Section as the current upload frontend. Access to the new GUI will be possible using the existing Member Section log-in and user permission rights.
As the new GUI solution transfers the upload files to CUE, Trading Participants are obliged to set up a CUE user as technical pre-requisite. In case Trading Participants already have a CUE user, there is no need for action. Please find more information in the “Common Report & Upload Engine User Guide” available on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the following path:
Support > Initiatives & Releases > T7 Release 12.0 > Reports
or contact your Technical Key Account Manager (TKAM).
3. Details of the initiative
In order to provide Trading Participants with a standardized and comprehensive data pre-validation and file processing, in order to avoid erroneous or incorrect data submission to the best extent possible, a GUI will be implemented in the CUE. Trading Participants using this manual upload solution benefit from the convenient re-utilization of the existing Member Section log-in and user permission rights and additionally benefit from the pre-validation tool and its feedback. Trading Participants using both, the CUE SFTP possibility and the manual GUI upload solution, benefit from a streamlined validation tool response.
A dedicated user manual of the new upload functionality and an updated version of the “Information handbook for audit trail and other regulatory reporting under the MiFID II/MiFIR regime” will be provided by the end of October 2023.
