Dear Eurex Participants,
We would like to draw your attention to some updates regarding the Transaction Size Limits (TSL).
With effect from 4 July 2022, Eurex will increase the number of available User Groups as well as the number of Exception TSLs (ETSL) for the new TSL regime which will be enforced as of 25 July 2022. With this change, Eurex follows member feedback to simplify the migration to the new TSL regime.
The maximum number of TSL User Groups will be increased from 5 to 10.
The ETSL Multiplier E defined by Eurex will be increased from 100 to 200. Please note, the maximum number N of ETSL for a Trading Participant with U users enabled for trading is given by:
N = U * E.
With the help of TSL user groups and TSL product groups, the maintenance becomes more efficient. In some cases, Trading Participants will not be able to replicate the old TSL settings and are expected to move to a more efficient setting adjusted to the new TSL regime.
All information about this project is available on the Eurex website www.eurex.com on our dedicated initiative page under:
Support > Initiatives & Releases > Project Readiness > Transaction Size Limits (TSL) Enhancements
and also on the dedicated initiative page for T7 Release 10.1 under:
Support > Initiatives & Releases > T7 Release 10.1.
System documentation, circulars, timeline and much more information has been published there for you.
If you have any further questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact your Key Account Manager or send an e-mail to client.services@eurex.com.
Kind regards,
Your Eurex Trading Operations Team
