Eurex
1. Introduction
During non-trading hours on weekends, Eurex provides Participants with the opportunity to test their connectivity to the T7 production environment. Following infrastructure maintenance on either the exchange and Participant side, Participants can access Connection Test Gateways and Enhanced Technical Market Data Heartbeats.
Eurex regularly performs its network, hardware and software maintenance outside of trading hours and as a result, the availability of the Connection Test Gateway processes and Enhanced Market Data Technical Heartbeat messages may be affected.
To provide Participants with more reliable information on the availability of these services, Eurex will provide status information under the “interfaces” tab on the Service status webpage on the Deutsche Börse Group website www.deutsche-boerse.com under the link:
MARKETS & SERVICES > INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY > Service status
from 15 January 2025 onwards.
2. Required action
No immediate action is required by Participants. Following any infrastructure changes outside of trading hours (e.g. weekends), Participants can refer to the information displayed on the Service status webpage to determine the availability of the Connection Test Gateways and Enhanced Market Data Technical Heartbeats from an exchange perspective.
3. Details
The Service status webpage displays the status of each service on a "per market" basis (e.g. XEUR). The status of each service will be displayed as "Available" (green status icon) together with the date/time it became available:
or as “Unavailable” (red status icon) together with the date/time when the service became unavailable:
In this case, Participants are requested to visit the website again later. Eurex will change the status of the service as soon as it becomes available again.
More information on the Connection Test Gateways and Enhanced Market Data Technical heartbeats can be found in the Network Access Guide, the ETI/FIX LF Interface Manuals, Market and Reference Data Interfaces Manual and Enhanced Order Book Interface Manual. All documents have been published on a dedicated initiative page on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the following link:
